About Ramone Yaciuk

I was finishing my degree in Psychology at the University Of Rhode Island when, through an unusual chain of events, I went to a class that had a guest speaker who was a Rolfer. This chance meeting and what I learned from the Rolfer piqued my curiosity. I went through a series of Rolfing Treatments, and to make a long story short, I moved to Colorado to study Rolfing.

I first stopped in Breckenridge for 5 months to do some skiing and then moved to Boulder for what I thought would be maybe a year or so. 24 years later, in 2012, I moved my practice to Marin to be with my sweetheart.

I became a Certified Rolfer in 1988 and then 5 years later continued my studies in Brazil where I received my Advanced Rolfing Certification. I was fortunate enough to be trained by two of Rolfing's most respected practitioners, Peter Melchior and Emmett Hutchins. In 2011 I began teaching at the Rolf Institute. Ida Rolf said that Rolfing helps to accelerate one’s personal evolution. I am privileged to help facilitate and participate in peoples’ evolutions.

I have experienced and enjoyed a multitude of different personal evolution techniques. Some of these trainings are directly related to and have enhanced my Rolfing work. These include training in Cranial Sacral, Visceral Manipulation, Yoga, and Energy Work. I also received certification in the “Human Validation Process Model” that was created by Virginia Satir.
