Welcome to Ramone Yaciuk Rolfing of Petaluma and San Rafael, CA

Previously known as Mountain Rolfing, Ramone Yaciuk Rolfing is a place where bodies come to be set free. My name is Ramone and I appreciate the opportunity to join you in your exploration of Rolfing. I have been doing this work since 1988 and love witnessing the joy of the amazing results my clients experience.

I am committed to providing Rolfing that is both deep and gentle. I know that may be different than what you might have heard about Rolfing, but I communicate with my clients to create a Rolfing experience that leaves them:

  • Feeling freer
  • Feeling better
  • Feeling more energized

How Can Rolfing Help You?

Rolfing Structural Integration is often the last thing that people try and the only thing that works. People who are suffering from the following conditions often find relief from Rolfing:

  • Back pain
  • Joint pain
  • Chronic stress
  • Tension from poor posture
  • Bodily discomfort from old injuries or chronic muscle tension

How Does Rolfing Structural Integration Work?

Originally developed by Dr. Ida Rolf some 40+ years ago, Rolfing Structural Integration is for the enhancement of the whole person by organizing the body in relationship to gravity

Since that time, the Rolf Institute has further articulated the principles on which the original series was based and has developed a wide range of soft tissue techniques to release articular motion restrictions that impede the whole body organization, while working within the client's level of comfort. through a ten session series of body work.

Today, Rolfers empower their clients through clear communication while responding appropriately to client feedback in order to establish a safe pace and comforta ble depth of work. These skills and techniques increase the Rolfer's effectiveness in working with many common structural problems to release structural conflicts and allow the client to experience free, fluid movement supported by gravity.

Because Rolfing SI is a holistic technique, it recognizes that changes in structure will impact the whole person-- physically, emotionally, and energetically-- and that ultimately it is the person's own experience of the work that is of primary importance. This plays a central role in the transformational aspects and potential of Rolfing Structural Integration

What Does Rolfing Feel Like?

Rolfing is a system of integration that usually feels like a satisfying deep tissue body treatment.

What Are The Benefits of Rolfing?

Rolfing Structural Integration has the ability to:

  • Dramatically alter a person's posture and structure
  • Resolve discomfort, release tension and alleviate pain.
  • Restore flexibility
  • Revitalize your energy
  • Leave you feeling more comfortable in your body

Who Can Benefit From Rolfing?

People from all walks of life have benefited from Rolfing including athletes, dancers, children, business professionals, and everyone in between. People seek Rolfing as a way to ease pain and chronic stress and improve performance in their professional and daily activities.

Why Rolfing?

While many people seek Rolfing for physical reasons, others come for support in their personal evolution and to become more integrated in their lives. Research shows that Rolfing significantly reduces chronic stress and inefficient patterns in the body’s structure. For example, a study showed that Rolfing significantly reduced the spinal curvature of subjects with lordosis (sway back). It also showed that Rolfing enhances neurological functioning.

Research also has demonstrated that Rolfing creates a more efficient use of the muscles, allowing the body to conserve energy, and create more economical and refined patterns of movement.

Today more people are realizing that they don’t have to live with bodily discomfort, poor posture and the stress that these conditions create. I work with a client’s connective tissue to re-sculpt the entire body and create more balance and ease.
